Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and account credentials when you register. When you connect a brokerage account, we receive read-only portfolio data (holdings, transactions, balances) via OAuth through SnapTrade. We do not receive or store your brokerage login credentials. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information.
How we use your information
We use your data solely to operate and improve the Prospr platform: to display your portfolio, generate analytics, surface AI-powered insights, and send transactional emails (account confirmations, alerts you opt into). We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your portfolio data for advertising.
Brokerage connections
Brokerage connections are established via SnapTrade using read-only OAuth tokens. Prospr can view your holdings and transaction history but cannot place trades, move funds, or make any changes to your accounts. You can revoke access at any time from your account settings.
Data security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use industry-standard security practices including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. Brokerage credentials are never stored on our servers.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@prosprcapital.com. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
